Unit 1: Public Relations & Communication Planning and Evaluation
In this unit, you learn how to position public relations strategically within organisations and society. You’ll analyse stakeholders and audiences, apply planning models, and develop robust campaign plans. You’ll also set communication objectives, create measurable targets, and learn to evaluate impact using industry‑standard frameworks such as AMEC. Along the way, you’ll explore ethical, legal and regulatory issues, governance, and risk in PR practice.
Unit 2: Communication & Content Management
This unit focuses on creating compelling, ethical content and managing communication across modern channels. You’ll explore how messages are shaped in a digital world, learn to tell stories that resonate, and use data to guide your content decisions. You’ll also consider the global, cultural, and technological context of communication, including the ethical use of AI and verification of information.
