Aims of the Module

The Diploma is designed to support candidates in acquiring knowledge and skills to incorporate sustainability into strategic public relations planning and management. Aligned with the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education, this program equips participants with the necessary tools and expertise.
Upon completion, candidates will have the capability to effectively oversee the strategic management of sustainability communications within commercial, public sector, or nonprofit organisations, particularly in complex scenarios.

Assessments Methods 

A written assignment  which is an executive report and summary situation analysis. This will consist of:-

3,000-word executive report or management proposal which identifies a key sustainability issue or opportunity for an organisation or sector. 
Supporting 2,000-word statement of reflection which highlights the research methods, sustainability frameworks, ethical considerations, and relevant sources  utilised to analyse the case study and inform recommendations for PR practitioners

Entry requirements 

This course is perfect for both generalist professionals who wish to enhance their knowledge of the discipline and for those who are, or aim to become, responsible for communicating the sustainability agenda within their organisation.

To study for the this qualifications, you will require either a formal qualifications - CIPR/Marketing/Business degree and 2 years’ relevant full-time employment in public relations.
