Aims of the course

The Diploma provides a deep understanding of public affairs concepts, political systems, policymaking, stakeholder analysis, and the strategic role in organisations. 
Upon completing the course, candidates will be able to analyse political systems, influence policymaking, conduct stakeholder analysis, develop public affairs plans, manage campaigns, use communication strategies, conduct risk analysis, and manage organisational reputation ethically.

Assessments Methods 

A written assignment  which is an executive report and summary situation analysis. This will consist of:-

3,000-word executive report, on a topic of enquiry associated with public affairs.

A supporting 2,000-word summary analysis of secondary research findings.

Entry requirements 

This course is ideal for those aiming to enhance their ability to influence policy, manage campaigns, and navigate the complexities of the political environment, including public affairs practitioners, lobbyists, and government relations specialists.

To study for the this qualifications, you will require either a formal qualifications - CIPR/Marketing/Business degree and 2 years’ relevant full-time employment in public relations.
