Aims

You’ll master advanced marketing strategy, leadership, and innovation to confidently navigate complex challenges and lead at the highest level.

Assesments

To complete the course, you’ll take three work-based assignments—one for each module. Each assignment focuses on a real business issue, giving you the chance to create strategic recommendations you can apply directly in your organisation.


You’ll submit assignments at one of three annual assessment points—December, March/April, or June—making it easy to fit around your work commitments.


We’ll support you with tailored one-to-one guidance and peer-to-peer feedback to ensure your approach hits the mark. By the end, you’ll feel confident, ready to showcase your expertise, and take your place as a CIM-qualified marketing leader.

Entry requirements

This qualification is designed for experienced marketers ready to step into senior leadership. To join, you’ll typically need:
  • A CIM Level 6 qualification (Professional Marketing or Digital Diploma)
  • OR a business/marketing degree where at least 50% of the credits are marketing-related
  • AND at least five years’ senior marketing management experience, so you can demonstrate you’re ready for this advanced level.
If English isn’t your first language, you’ll also need to show recent evidence of proficiency (IELTS 6.5 overall, or equivalent). Not sure if you meet the criteria? Get in touch—we’re happy to talk through your experience and help you find the right path.
