Aims of the Module


The SEO and Paid Search Management module equips learners with the skills to create effective SEO and paid search strategies, understand customer search behaviour, and optimise websites and campaigns for better visibility and ROI. It also ensures learners stay competitive by applying best practices and adapting to evolving search engine trends.

Assessments Methods 

The module will be assessed online MCQ examination. 

Assessment for the module is through an onscreen multiple-choice test, consisting of 45 questions to be completed within 90 minutes.

Entry requirements 

For marketing managers and marketers working in operational and supervisory roles, who are aiming to advance their strategic and management skills.

You’ll need to have a minimum of two years’ experience working in the industry at an operational level or a relevant Level 4 qualification to study the Diploma in Professional Marketing. If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate you’ve achieved an equivalent qualification.

How can it be used?

Learnings from this module can be applied to create effective SEO and paid search strategies, optimise websites, manage campaigns, and leverage customer search data to boost visibility, traffic, and ROI.
You can use it as a standalone Level 6 certificate to demonstrate your expertise or as an elective in the Level 6 CIM Professional & Digital Marketing Diploma, with additional modules available to complete the full qualification.
